ALAIN DUBREUIL

Born in Monte Carlo where he trained at his mothers ballet school, he then went to London under the guidance of Anton Dolin where he joined the London Festival Ballet where he soon rose to be a principal dancing all the major roles.
He then joined the Royal Ballet working with Ninette de Valois, F.Ashton, MacMillan and Peter Wright . He was noted for his interpretation of Albrecht in Giselle and the Prodigal Son by Balanchine .
During his long career he has partnered, Margot Fonteyn, Natalia Makarova, Lynn Seymour, Antoinette Sibley, Galina Samsova among many others .
In 1990 Peter Wright asked him to help set up Birmingham Royal Ballet as Ballet Master .
Now a guest teacher he has has been imparting his knowledge across the world.
