Irina Zhelonkina

Irina was Born in 1970,  Tcheboksary, Russia.

She graduated from Vaganova Ballet Academy (class of Natalya . Dudinskaya) in 1989 and joined the Mariinsky Ballet Company.
Merited Artist of the Russian Federation 2003.
Her repertoire includes La Sylphide by A. Bournonville , Giselle, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Le Corsaire, The Fountain of Bakhchisarai, La Bayadere, A Legend of Love by Y. Grigorovich, Romeo and Juliet by L. Lavrovsky, Paquita, The Sleeping Beauty, Chopiniana (Les Sylphides) by M.Fokine, Petrouchka by M. Fokine, Symphony in C by G. Balanchine, Apollo by G. Balanchine.
Since 2015 professor of  Vaganova Ballet Academy, St Petersburg, Russia.
